Unwanted Attention

Lindsay Lohan is the unwilling cover girl for the American Beverage Institute after the alcohol industry supporting group featured a full page ad featuring Lohan’s mugshot. The point of the ad was to attack blood alcohol measuring devices that are used to start a vehicle. Above the picture of Lindsay is the caption “Ignition interlocks are a good idea for” and continues on to say “But a bad idea for us” placed above a picture of random people drinking.

The managing director of the company says the reason they used Miss Lohan was due to her high profile and multiple DUIs. She went on to say that they needed to show the public the difference between someone who has multiple DUIs and someone who is only a first time offender.
